Dungeons and Dragons: Wrath of the Dragon God is a 2005fantasy film directed by Gerry Lively. It is a made-for-TVsequel of sorts to the 2000filmDungeons & Dragons, which in turn was based on the popular role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons (or D&D ). The only returning actor is Bruce Payne reprising his role as the evil Damodar.
The 2005 sequel "Dungeons & Dragons: Wrath of the Dragon God" was by no account an outstanding movie, nor was it the movie that the Dungeons & Dragons tabletop role-playing game truly deserves. I think for such an iconic game, it deserves a movie that Hollywood can be proud of.

Wrath of the Dragon God understood the assignment that 2000's abysmal Dungeons & Dragons failed. It's got an adventuring party consisting of the basic classes (fighter, barbarian, cleric, mage, thief). It's got distinctly different types of dragons. It's got mages doing mage things, like casting spells & researching magical items.
Dungeons & Dragons: Wrath of the Dragon God (2005) Together, four heroes build their own army to retrieve the orb, using elemental forces to defeat Damodar before he summons the sleeping black dragon.
