Avi Arad (* 1948 in Ramat Gan, Israel) ist ein US-amerikanischer Filmproduzent. In den 1990er Jahren war Arad gemeinsam mit Isaac Perlmutter Geschäftsführer des Unternehmens Toy Biz, das später Marvel Comics übernahm und vor dem drohenden Konkurs rettete.

Poop_But. •. Avi Arad saved Marvel. He was the guy who came up with the idea to sell off the franchises to other studios to make movies and expand the brand profile . Of course, that caused the franchises to become split up but the movies they made were successful which set the stage for the current MCU.
Along with Toy Biz co-owner Isaac Perlmutter, Avi Arad came into conflict with Carl Icahn and Ron Perelman over control of Marvel Comics in the wake of its 1996 bankruptcy. In the end, Arad and Perlmutter came out on top, with Toy Biz taking over Marvel Comics in a complicated deal that included obtaining the rights to Spider Man and other superheroes that Marvel had sold earlier.
