24 de ago. de 2010 · The engine coolant get up to 233 degrees and the oil get up to about 222 degrees. I just do not know where to look, if you can give me some guidance I would appreciate it. 7 de may. de 2020 · Pull the wire off the rear "I" terminal on the starter solenoid when the engine won't shut off. If the engine dies, then you need a new one. Sometimes they will short internally and backfeed the ignition through the starter boost circuit. If not, then your ignition switch is bad and I'd call NPD for a replacement. 1971 Mach 1 ~ 1965 coupe.
3 de ene. de 2022 · Steve73 Discussion starter. Yes ignition switch is in OFF position, key is OUT of lock cylinder. Engine continues running. I remove relay#49 (PWR/TRN) from under hood fuse/relay block & engine shuts off. Engine will start with relay#15 (RUN/CRANK) removed which I thought odd. Service Manual suggests testing relay & circuit.
