Since the retirement of Yves Saint Laurent in 2002, the building has become first the headquarters of Fondation Pierre Bergé – Yves Saint Laurent and, since Fall of 2017, is now also a museum.
With the exhibition YVES SAINT LAURENT – SHAPES & FORMS, the couturier’s modern and enduring vision is echoed once again.Through a fascinating spatial arrangement, the artist Claudia Wieser engenders a dialogue with textile pieces and graphic art from the museum’s collections.

The Yves Saint Laurent Museum, inaugurated on 3 October 2017, presents dresses, accessories, costume sketches, photos and videos to the public in a 450 m² exhibition space. This museum, dedicated to one of the most iconic couturiers of the 20th century, is housed in a Second Empire mansion, in which the designer’s teams worked for 30 years.
