Born in Flushing, Queens, New York, Peter Marc Jacobson broke into show business alongside wife Fran Drescher, appearing in a string of such 1980s and '90s movies as "Gorp and "We're Talkin' Serious Money." In 1993, he effectively retired from acting to take matters into his and Drescher's own hands, co-creating a vehicle for his longtime spouse.
