Learning Skills. Our Learning Skills team supports the work of teaching departments and provides specialist guidance to boys on the most effective ways to learn. Through our PSHE programme boys are provided with a range of direct guidance on topics such as ‘How To Devise Your Revision Timetable’ and ‘Growing a Growth Mindset’.
Enquiries and Visits. The Archive is open from 9.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, by appointment only. Please send enquiries by email to the Archivist, with as much background information as possible. As the School receives many enquiries, it may take time to carry out research and we may have to limit the time we spend on a particular request.
Each year, the School admits around 160 boys into Year 9, in the September following their 13th birthday, and up to 20 boys, normally aged 16, into Year 12 (Sixth Form). Year. 9 Entry. 1. Registration - by end of Year 5. Please register your son for a place at Harrow by 1 July of Year 5. Registrations received after the end of Year 5 will be considered Late Applicants. Late Applicants will be competing for fewer places but follow the same application procedure. Programme. The Careers Team at Harrow, working closely with the Universities Team, provides guidance on subject choices, career options and work experience, so that boys are well equipped when they enter the world of work. Choosing a career is one of the most important decisions that our boys will ever make.
