My personal take: Ben & Ben is pretty much OK. Not great, but not bad either. Pero definitely not the usual hugot shit you get from the likes of Moira de la Torre (lololol). Personally, I have no problems with love songs per se. Most commercial pop songs are love songs anyway.

Hes an extremely outdoorsy person. I think its a result of losing weight since he looks so much thinner at an older age relative to before and the acxumulation of years of too much sunlight w/ the beard also adding some age. I think that may have been part of his growth, he is still cocky as a teen, but he's also more serious. And I bet during this scheme he's reached his limit, since he and Gwen were arguing about Kevin for literal episodes and I think [though I may be wrong] that prior to that scene Gwen let Kevin go, this being the straw that broke the camel's back in a "Your way failed, now we do it my way."
