Todd Harry Rundgren ( Upper Darby, Pensilvania, 22 de junio de 1948) es un cantante, compositor, multiinstrumentista y productor musical estadounidense. Es conocido especialmente por dos de sus álbumes, aclamados por la crítica: Something/Anything? de 1972 y A Wizard, a True Star, de 1973. Rundgren lideró el grupo de rock progresivo Utopia.

Notes. 2011 reissue of the 1990 2CD version. This version features the new catalog number "R2 71107" on the spine and sleeve, but the discs feature the original "R2DD 71107" number. This version also comes in a slim double jewel case with a single fold-out booklet, as opposed to the 1990 double CD pack. Not remastered.
Something, Anything? is prophetic on the larger scale, though that idea would not have been considered when the album was released, with Todd looking back, forward, and into the future. For all of it’s quirkiness, “Piss Aaron” bespeaks the irreverence of the punk scene that is just around the corner, and “Wolfman Jack” is more Motown than Motown has a right to be.
Actually, the original pressing of Something/Anything is surprisingly bass heavy for a record from 1972. I just did an A/B comparison with my first press Bearsville/WB copy and both are equally bass heavy at flat EQ levels. If anything, this Rhino press is a little clearer at the higher frequencies, most noticible on Todd's vocals.
