Line-up a famous friend or 2 to feature on each track; but, whereas "WK" was done this way as a crutch for phoned-in weak songwriting and production, this one is more back to the classic Rundgren sound, and more inspired and witty / fun as opposed to dark and serious.

Där han skrev det mesta av låtarna till gruppens tre album Nazz, Nazz Nazz och Nazz III. [4] Det sista färdigställdes dock utan honom då han hoppade av 1969 för att inleda en solokarriär.
The plainly titled Very Best of Todd Rundgren does an admirable job of framing an accurate portrait of this notoriously elusive artist. Though many of Rundgren’s LPs were conceived as song suites (Runt and A Wizard, A True Star in particular), the compilers do an excellent job of extracting Rundgren’s poppiest moments from these dense, often bewildering albums.
