10 de jun. de 2014 · Après deux albums studios enthousiasmants, District 97 nous offre un témoignage live d'un concert hommage au 'Roi Cramoisi' donné à Chicago le 17 octobre 2013. Si le présent opus se nomme "One More Red Night" c'est par allusion à "One More Red Nightmare", titre tiré de "Red", un des albums considérés comme majeurs dans la discographie de King Crimson.
2 de ene. de 2015 · This quality live set was recorded at Reggie’s Music Joint in Chicago back in October 2013, during D97’s tour with the Crimson/Asia legend. Wetton has heartily endorsed these up ‘n’ comers, dubbing them ‘the best young progressive band around right now’, and they were certainly the highlight of Celebr8.2 for this writer, with charismatic frontlady Leslie Hunt a total revelation.
They also gained a fan in former Asia and King Crimson singer/bassist John Wetton, who agreed to collaborate with them on their 2012 follow-up, Trouble with Machines. Wetton joined District 97 for subsequent tours of Europe and the U.S., which were later documented on the 2014 concert album One More Red Night: Live in Chicago.
