1 de feb. de 2024 · 16. Stop at the Grande Mosquée de Paris. Away from churches, another religious place to visit in the Latin Quarter is the Grande Mosquée de Paris or just the Paris Mosque. Considered the oldest mosque in metropolitan France and one of the largest in the country, a visit to this mosque will not disappoint.
The Paris Latin Quarter Food Tour was fantastic as we visited and learned about interesting sights. Our Tour Guide, Nico, was both knowledgeable and entertaining with an excellent demeanor. From the patisseries and baguettes to cheese and charcuterie with wine followed by crepes and ice cream, the food was delicious classic French fare.

Latin Quarter is a British band formed in 1983. They had one top 20 single "Radio Africa" in the United Kingdom. From the beginning they became more successful in Germany. Latin Quarter released their latest album, Releasing the Sheep, on 29 October 2021. Their sound mixes elements of pop, rock, reggae and folk with largely political based lyrics.
