I actually prefer it more than some of the last couple of releases and is clearly an album that showcases his songwriting strengths and his superb melodic sensibilities. Jeff has some help on some of these tracks but overall I prefer those he co-wrote with Marti Frederiksen.

22 de mar. de 2011 · The hopeful writing of the song “My Life Story” shows a underrated side of Healey, which was his terrific songwriting prowess. The dark grinding momentum of “Feel Better” adds elements of modern rock and even some grunge to the already powerful blues rock atmosphere unlike only Jeff could dish out.
Im Jahre 2000 kam Get Me Some auf den Markt, auf dem die Band wieder mit dem gewohnten Blues zu hören ist. 2005 erschien mit Live at Montreux das letzte Album der Band. Jeff Healey verstarb am 2. März 2008 im Alter von 41 Jahren im St. Joseph’s Health Centre Krankenhaus in seiner Geburtsstadt Toronto an den Folgen des Retinoblastoms, eines bösartigen Netzhauttumors.
