Patrick Henry Travers is a Canadian rock guitarist, singer and songwriter who began his recording career in the mid-1970s.
The band in question - Pat Travers, guitarist Pat Thrall, drummer Tommy Aldridge and bass player Peter “Mars” Cowling - were unarguably one of the most talented rock quartets ever to perform. They were also responsible for a pair of bona fide studio classics - their 1978 guitar rock debut “Heat in the Street'', and 1980's more musically diverse and critically acclaimed “Crash and Burn''.
Patrick Henry "Pat" Travers (born April 12, 1954) is a Canadian rock guitarist, keyboardist, singer, and songwriter who began his recording career with Polydor Records in the mid-1970s. Pat Thrall, Nicko McBrain, Mick Dyche, Tommy Aldridge, Peter "Mars" Cowling, Jerry Riggs, and Carmine Appice are some of the noted musicians who have been members of the Pat Travers Band through the years.

9 de sept. de 2023 · Some 43 years on from the Pat Travers Band’s 1980 classic Snortin’ Whiskey (And Drinkin’ Cocaine), Travers is chatting to Classic Rock at his home in Florida. These days he leads a much more temperate existence than that depicted in the aforementioned song, with mindfulness, meditation and practising karate at Black Belt, Third Dan all part of his routine.
