Give My Regards to Broad Street is the soundtrack album to the 1984 film of the same name and the fifth solo studio album by Paul McCartney. Unlike the film, the album was commercially successful, in Britain, where it achieved number 1 on the UK chart. The lead single, “No More Lonely Nights”, was BAFTA and Golden Globe Award nominated.

Broad Street station (1865-1986) has the dubious honour of being London’s only main line terminus to be erased off the map completely. The station was deliberately run down and had a dreadful appearance to say the least. The roof leaked like a sieve and that’s very evident in this post!
