Neil Sedaka, in a recent 2010 interview, stated that it was the arrival of the British Invasion, most notably The Beatles who halted his singing career, in the early 60's. Collaborating with songwriting partners, Howard Greenfield and Phil Cody , he penned numerous hits written for Connie Francis , Carpenters , Captain And Tennille among others.
