Peter John Sinfield (né le 27 décembre 1943 à Fulham, Londres) est principalement connu comme parolier des 4 premiers albums du groupe King Crimson. Il a participé à In the Court of the Crimson King, In the Wake of Poseidon, Lizard et Islands, dont il est également coproducteur avec Robert Fripp.

Still (also known as Stillusion) is the first, and to date only, solo album by Pete Sinfield, former lyricist of progressive rock band King Crimson, released in 1973.At the time, Sinfield was involved with Emerson, Lake & Palmer, and Greg Lake assisted with vocals, while other King Crimson alumni provided assistance. Peter Sinfield is not only lyrics author, he sings and plays keyboards and guitars. Whole album is very melodic, dreamy and folksy one. Sinfield isn't a great vocalist, but his lyrics and participation of great musicians build a nice atmosphere. Keit Tippett ,Mel Collins and brass section gave a jazzy feeling on some songs.
