By the time of Unhinged it had been relegated as Jowe sang two songs dedicated to the crab - both land and sea. Yes times had changed and Jowes sound had matured. There were more guitars, less deadpan vocals and the song writing stronger.

The lyric on this track refers to bruises I suffered after an operation, and noticing the various colours that my skin went through until they gradually vanished. Psychedelic surgery indeed! 14 Olive’s Hairy Custard ‘Belly Of The Beast’. This was one of the strangest bands imaginable.
10 de abr. de 2024 · Jowe Head's first post-Swell Maps recordings from 1980 and a further session from 1982 after his first LP Pincer Movement was released in 1981. Six tracks from these recordings were released on Constrictor in Germany in 1986 alongside tracks from Pincer Movement as Strawberry Deutschmark but the other 13 here are previously unreleased. .
