The band consists of Charles (Black Francis) Thompson IV (vocals, guitar; also known as ''Frank Black''), Joey Santiago (lead guitar), David Lovering (drums) and Paz Lenchantin (bass, vocals).Until 2013, the band also featured Kim Deal on bass and vocals.
