It's not a Den-O Kiva movie. It's a Den-O movie that happens to have Kiva characters which cameo for 2 scenes. the thing is completelly self contained on Den-O side. as long as you know WHAT is a fangire (I'd say, watch episode 1-5 and you are alredy more than perfectly in-line) you are good.
