Joint directors Daniele Cipri and Franco Maresco are new names to me; a quick check of their filmographies revealed that Cipri is better known as a cinematographer (93 films) than as a director (28 films) and Maresco has 33 directing credits. The pair co-wrote the screenplay with Lillo Iacolino.
