"Hard Hat Area" is an album by Allan Holdsworth, released in 1994. The title track features synthesizers and was inspired by the imagery of a high-rise building being constructed in Tokyo. Holdsworth discusses the difficulty of playing the piece "Tullio" on the album and mentions that he prefers playing over chord changes, whether he wrote them or not.
