30 de may. de 2022 · Hrál také se svou kapelou Kim Nishikawara Band, kterou vedl tři roky. Kim se dobře vyzná ve stylu "smooth jazz" a nahrál své vlastní smooth jazz album "Intuition". Pravidelně se objevuje se "Smooth Edge". Od roku 2020 je také členem koncertní sestavy reunionovaných Colosseum.
