20 de may. de 2023 · During the Bleach era, when Nirvana made waves underground, their drummer was Chad Channing. He joined in 1988 but left in 1990, citing creative differences when the band were at the embryonic stages of making its 1991 follow-up, Nevermind.Interestingly, the version of ‘Polly’ used on Nevermind is the original version the band recorded with Channing.
Unfortunately for Chad, as his time in Nirvana went on he became worse and worse due to losing passion in the project. He wanted more creative freedom and felt like a drum machine and I think this affected his motivation. This kinda feels like toasting to the groom’s ex girlfriend at his wedding reception.
