St Edward's School was founded in 1863 by the Reverend Thomas Chamberlain, Senior Student and Honorary Canon of Christ Church Oxford, who at the time was the Vicar at St. Thomas the Martyr in Oxford. St Edward’s cricket provision and facilities are exceptional, resulting in Teddies regularly being featured in The Cricketer Schools Guide of the top 100 Senior schools for cricket in the country. The School has pitches, six state of the art artificial nets, four indoor nets, a Merlyn bowling machine and the use of the Nuffield Health Gym for cricket-specific strength and conditioning.
Edward joined St Edward’s as Bursar & COO in January 2020. He leads the financial and operational management of the School and of the charity’s commercial subsidiaries and operations, including St Edward’s School International. He is also responsible for Admissions, Fundraising, Partnerships and the School’s endowment fund.
