Unseen Rain is a seldom recommended album, but it's by far his best.The playing is magnificent and the recording is absolutely superb. The two records with Charlie Haden and Bill Frisell are also excellent Going Back Home and Falling Off The Roof. Ginger Baker's Air Force albums are interesting, but there's too much going on - it blunts the force of the music.
