Besides having incredible chops and an instantly identifiable sound Michael Brecker has recorded some amazing solos over the last 30+ years of recordings. So much excitement and energy, just when you think the solo has reached its peak, he takes it up a notch or two.
Michael Brecker, né le 29 mars 1949 à Philadelphie (Pennsylvanie) et décédé le 13 janvier 2007 à New York (État de New York), est un saxophoniste ténor américain. Il a gagné 15 Grammy Awards en tant qu'interprète et compositeur , évoluant la majorité du temps avec son frère trompettiste Randy Brecker , notamment au sein de leur groupe de jazz-fusion The Brecker Brothers .
