  2. Description. The program is an intensive 18-hour-per-week immersion course that combines the four English skills -conversation, listening comprehension, reading, and writing- in a full-immersion environment and integrated method. The learning process is enhanced by education, state-of-the-art technology, extracurricular activities, and field trips.

  3. The program offers English language courses that are designed to prepare non-native speakers for a degree program at Broward College. The EAP program consists of fifteen courses in three main skill-areas: Grammar & Writing, Listening & Speaking, and Reading & Vocabulary.

  6. EAP0282C is a combined skills course designed for students enrolled in English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Programs. Students will develop English grammar, writing, reading, speaking, listening, and vocabulary skills. Students will develop academic language skills in the context of guided discourse with an emphasis on logical thought.

  7. English Composition (ENC) This course provides an overview of the fundamentals of grammar, mechanics, usage, sentence structure, and paragraph development. A laboratory component will supplement classroom instruction. With a D or an F, a student must repeat the course.
