It is a prequel to Underworld (2003) and the third installment in the Underworld film series. The film stars Michael Sheen, Bill Nighy, Rhona Mitra, Steven Mackintosh, and Kevin Grevioux. The plot focuses primarily on the origins of the characters and the events that lead up to the Vampire – Lycan war.
Underworld: Rise of the Lycans (titulada Underworld: La rebelión de los licántropos en España e Inframundo: La rebelión de los Lycans en Hispanoamérica) es la tercera película de la saga Underworld y precuela de las dos anteriores, Underworld y Underworld: Evolution.
About Underworld: Rise Of The Lycans. Dos décadas después de la creación de ambas especies, vampiros y hombres lobo, Viktor que es la máxima autoridad de la comunidad vampira en esta época, fue informado que sus calabozos había nacido un bebé con forma humana del vientre de una madre lobo.
Synopsis. The film begins with a voice-over monologue by vampire Selene, telling the story of the Lycans and vampires. It has been 20 years since the war between them has begun (set several years before the first Underworld movie).
Viktor (Bill Nighy), the cruel king of the vampires, has persecuted the Lycans for centuries. Young Lycan Lucian (Michael Sheen) rallies his people against Viktor and his Death Dealer warriors.
