In 2018, Pokémon GO introduced the concept of Community Days. These are days where, for a few hours, a certain Pokémon will have increased appearances, Pokémon will get unique moves while various other effects happen.

20 de ene. de 2018 · During a Community Day, a specific Pokemon species begins spawning in large numbers with a greatly enhanced Shiny rate, special bonuses are put in place, and evolution of the featured Pokemon during Community Day hours will allow said Pokemon to learn an exclusive move that it can't normally learn.
29 de jul. de 2022 · Our in-person Community Day meetups will happen on Saturday, August 13, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time. The cities highlighted with an orange pin will feature in-person Community Day meetups. Trainers at the locations highlighted with blue pins can look forward to receiving more items every time they spin a PokéStop.
