Kite (カイト, Kaito) was a Hunter and Ging Freecss' student. After his death, he was reborn as a Chimera Ant. Colt named her Reina (レイナ, Reina), after his late sister, but she took to calling herself Kite once again.
Kite (カイト, Kaito?) es el discípulo de Ging Freecss, consiguiendo dicho título tras una intensa búsqueda de su maestro. Es el primer personaje mostrado en el manga. Después de su muerte, renace como una hormiga quimera.
Kite (カイト, Kaito?) es la hermana gemela de Meruem, una hormiga quimera y un miembro de la familia real. Fue llamada Reina, como la hermana de Colt, pero desde pequeña se llamó a sí misma Kite.

Kite is the very first Hunter introduced in the story. He is a disciple of Ging Freecss, Gon's father. After saving Gon from a foxbear on Whale Island, Kite revealed to him the truth about his father. Before he took his leave, Kite left Ging's Hunter License in Gon's hands.
