1 de dic. de 2020 · The sample islands, including islands >100 ha, predominantly exhibited growth (110 islands; 59.1%) and secondarily experienced stability (71 islands; 38.2%). Only 5 small resort islands showed contraction.
This major free exhibition was hosted at the Fitzwilliam Museum between 24 February 2023 and the 4 June 2023. It brought together extraordinary loans examining the unique identity of islanders, transporting visitors to 6,000 years of island life and history from the ancient Mediterranean to today.
Jetty 1 Museum is a national monument separate from the Exhibition and Information Centre. If you don't have half a day to devote to the Robben Island tour, or if the weather lends itself to remaining on dry land rather than heading across to the island, this is the next best thing.
