Anna Yuryevna Netrebko (Russian: Анна Юрьевна Нетребко; born 18 September 1971) is a Russian and Austrian operatic soprano who has performed at the Salzburg Festival, Metropolitan Opera, Vienna State Opera, the Royal Opera and La Scala.

Born in 1971 in the southern Russian city of Krasnodar, Anna Netrebko devoted herself to singing from an early age. She later studied at the St. Petersburg Conservatory, where she was discovered and was able to take on minor roles at the Mariinsky Theatre.
