Michael Christopher Sheen (born 5 February 1969) is a Welsh actor. After training at London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), he worked mainly in theatre throughout the 1990s with stage roles in Romeo and Juliet (1992), Don't Fool with Love (1993), Peer Gynt (1994), The Seagull (1995), The Homecoming (1997), and Henry V (1997).
Michael Christopher Sheen appears in New Moon, Eclipse, and both Breaking Dawn movies as Aro. Sheen is well known for his roles as David Frost in the Academy Award nominated Frost/Nixon, and as the Lycans' leader Lucian in the Underworld film series.
Aro is one of three who lead the clan of ancient vampires know as the Volturi, although he is thier overall leader. He has a supernatural gift that allows him to hear all thoughts, and know all memories of a person, simply by touching them.
