All of his hard work paid off when he was accepted to The Royal Ballet School, an elite institution that, per its website, only accepts 10-15% of those who audition for their Associate Programme."The Royal was like the army; it's the most intense regime and structure I've ever had," Kempt told Backstage of his time there.
