Conrad was a towering artist, composer, musician, professor, and filmmaker; an avant-garde New York fixture since the early 1960s; a friend, collaborator, and mentor to several generations of artists and musicians. He was astoundingly prolific in a wide array of mediums over six decades, and much of his massive body of work has yet to surface.
