4 de dic. de 2023 · Tonbridge has consolidated its position as one of the country’s leading schools following the publication of the latest Sunday Times ‘Parent Power’ Schools Guide. In tables released on Friday 1 December, Tonbridge is ranked as the sixth best independent school nationally.

Tonbridge is one of the top boys’ schools in the UK. Its 2020 GCSE results of 94.5% A*-A is proof of its outstanding academic programme.
Tonbridge is one of the most famous and prestigious boys independent schools in the UK, offering a superb all-round education to nearly 800 boys, just over half of whom are full boarders. The school was founded in 1553 and is situated near the centre of the Kentish town of Tonbridge, with regular trains to London taking less than an hour.
In the latest Sunday Times ‘Parent Power’ league table, published in December 2022, Tonbridge was the 8th highest ranking independent school in the country, and the top boys boarding school. Pastoral care is based around an outstanding House system.
Tonbridge always ranks as one of the top boys’ schools for both GCSEs and A-levels. High demand and a high bar for entrance ensure that the majority of boys arrive as academic high-fliers and push on from there.
Tonbridge School Results. GCSE Results: 2023: 93% achieved grades 9-7. 2019: 92% achieved grades 9-7 (pre-pandemic). A Level Results: 2023: 80% attained A*/A grades, with 97% achieving A*-B. 2019: 68% attained A*/A grades, with 91% achieving A*-B (pre-pandemic).
