Old Man's Child is a Norwegian black metal band from the city of Oslo. The band is the brainchild of Galder (formerly known as Grusom; birth name: Thomas Rune Andersen) who is the only permanent member of the band.
OLD MAN'S CHILD. Old Man's Child formed in Oslo, Norway in the summer of 1993 when guitarist/vocalist Galder (originally known as Grusom), guitarist Jardar and drummer Tjodalv decided to form a band dedicated to classic death metal.

La banda fue fundada en 1993, pero sus orígenes se remontan hacia 1989; cuando Galder Aldrahn Jardar eran miembros de la banda de death metal / thrash metal Requiem. Después la banda Requiem cambia su nombre y es ahí cuando se forma Old Man's Child.
