Neil Mullane Finn OBE (born 27 May 1958) is a New Zealand singer-songwriter and musician. He is best known for being a principal member of Split Enz, of which he shared lead duties with his brother Tim, and the lead singer, guitarist, and a founding member of Crowded House. He has also been a member of Fleetwood Mac since 2018.

Comenzó como guitarrista en Split Enz, grupo que lideraba su hermano mayor Tim Finn en los años 70 y 80. Su implicación fue aumentando con el tiempo, destacar éxitos como «I Got You», «History Never Repeats», «One Step Ahead», «Message to My Girl» o «Six Months in a Leaky Boat», entre otros.
Tim Finn's brother, Neil Finn, joined as Judd's replacement on 7 April 1977, while Nigel Griggs replaced Chunn on bass. Over time, as well as being the band's guitarist, Neil Finn became their co-lead singer and a key songwriter, both alongside his brother Tim.
Written by co-lead singer Neil Finn, who did not initially believe it to be a hit, it became the band's most commercially successful song, topping the charts in Australasia (spending eight weeks at number-one in Australia) and placing in the top 20 of the British and Canadian charts.
