Academic Programs. Our liberal arts education gives you the opportunity to take a wide variety of classes and explore connections across disciplines. Our academics are challenging and rigorous, but you will be supported every step of the way by your advisors, your professors, and your peers.

Choose from more than 35 Lewis & Clark overseas study programs in 26 countries—including China, Cuba, India, Ireland, and Tanzania—more than two-thirds outside Western Europe. Our commitment to global citizenship creates rich opportunities for life after college.
As a liberal arts college committed to international education, Lewis & Clark offers an extensive program of overseas and off-campus study opportunities. Each year roughly 300 students participate in more than 30 programs, either abroad or in selected areas of the United States.
Academic English Studies (AES) provides courses for English language learners to develop academic English and intercultural competency for success at Lewis & Clark, other U.S. institutions of higher education, and in the world.
