Hard Corps were an electronic band that pioneered electronic music in the 1980s and released their first single in 1984 Dirty/Respirer on Survival Records, with Respirer also being released that year on The Art of Survival compilation EP along with bands such as Tik and Tok, Eddie and Sunshine and Richard Bone.
1980s synth pop band from Brixton, London. They had already split by the time the band released their debut album in 1990 (produced by Martin Rushent).

By 1985 Hard Corps had signed with major label giants Polydor. This enabled the band to work with a couple of their favoured and respected producers, Martin Rushent (known mostly for his exceptional work with the Human League) and Depeche Mode producer and Mute Records supremo, Daniel Miller.

Formed in 1984 by Robert Doran, Clive Pierce and Hugh Ashton, they recruited the voice of Regine Fetet, which besides being an unique singer, had a strong and audacious stage presence.
