Robert Dwayne «Bobby» Womack (Cleveland, 4 de marzo de 1944 – Tarzana, 27 de junio de 2014) [1] fue un cantautor y músico estadounidense. Starting in the early 1950s as the lead singer of his family musical group the Valentinos and as Sam Cooke 's backing guitarist, Womack's career spanned more than 60 years and multiple styles, including R&B, jazz, soul, rock and roll, doo-wop, and gospel .
Womack & Womack was the singing and songwriting partnership of married American musicians Linda Womack and Cecil Womack. The duo were successful as songwriters for other artists and had several international hits as a singing duo in the 1980s and 1990s.

"If You Think You're Lonely Now" is a song recorded and released by American soul singer-songwriter Bobby Womack in 1981 from his album The Poet. It was initially released as the b-side to his song "Secrets" [4] but proved to be the more popular track.
