The Prost–Senna rivalry was a Formula One rivalry between French driver Alain Prost and Brazilian driver Ayrton Senna. The rivalry was at its most intense during the period in which they were teammates at McLaren - Honda in the 1988 and the 1989 seasons, and continued when Prost joined Ferrari in 1990. [1]
