The following is the schedule of plenary addresses programmed for the Opening Ceremony: 09:00 – 09:05, Franco Braga & Rui Pinho, Conference Host & Chair of Organisation Committee. 09:05 – 09:15, Giuseppe Sala, Mayor of the City of Milan. 09:15 – 09:25, Attilio Fontana, President of Lombardia Region.
The 18 th World Conference on Earthquake Engineering (WCEE2024) will be organised in Milan, Italy, from June 30 to July 5, 2024. International participation and contributions of both scientific community and practitioners will be appreciated, with a view to share knowledge and ideas in the field of earthquake engineering.
4 de dic. de 2020 · IAEE announces that Italy (Milano) will host the 18WCEE in June/July 2024, after online voting by the National Delegates. The conference will celebrate the Italian scientific community and the progress in earthquake engineering and risk reduction.
The 18th WCEE will be held in Italy in 2024. The papers from the previous WCEE conferences are available online and can be accessed from the official website.
