Wellington Women’s Refuge and Te Whare Rokiroki, Māori Women’s Refuge provide services to women and children in the Wellington community. Our services are confidential and we support women whether they choose to leave or stay in a relationship.

Wellington Women’s Refuge has been providing services to women and children in the Wellington Community for over 40 years. We work alongside our sister refuge Te Whare Rokiroki who provides refuge services to Māori women and children.
Supporting women at appointments such as the police, lawyers, court hearings, Housing and Work & Income. 24-hour access to safe-house accommodation for those whose safety is at risk in the community. We work with a diverse range of ethnicities and use interpreting service as needed.
