The Incense Altar is a block added by Blood Magic. It is used to gain a bonus to the LP gained when self-sacrificing. The Sacrificial Knife transforms into the Sacrificial Dagger when the player is within 6 blocks from the Incense Altar.
It's a multiblock structure, consisting of an Incense Altar itself, Paths of tiered variety and "Tranquility Blocks" (more on them later). Standing near it allows you to gather Tranquility, which lets you instantly sacrifice 90% of your health for a massive LP bonus.

As you gain Tranquility, the bonus your altar gives you will increase, to a maximum of 300%. However, using just wooden paths, you will not be able to get it that high. To do so, you'll need to create Stone, Worn Stone, and Obsidian Paths, each of which requires a higher tier Blood Altar to craft, Tier 3, 4, and 5 respectively.

3 de abr. de 2020 · The tranquility is the peace inside of the player when is using the Sacrificial Dagger to extract more blood and the player be more able to stay alive. The IA (Incense Altar) can only affect or give the effect of “tranquility” to the one who craft and placed it.
