David Martinez and his crew got demolished by Smasher despite having the cyberskeleton. And V won a head-on fight against Smasher. Safe to say V would demolish David's team (and Maine's team even more so.)
David was at the beginning of the series just a rookie but he became a legend in the time that past. He was known by every fixers from Wakako to Faraday and for as far as we can tell, he was able to deal with an entire army of Arasaka and Militech prior to even fighting Adam Smasher.
If it was the case that David was actually turned into a construct, basically in every ending (but the corpo one), it leaves David's consciousness to get shredded into Alt, and V is indirectly responsible for it.

10 de oct. de 2022 · If compared to a single V life path, then it's easy to find the differences. David is neither a nomad, street kid, nor corpo. However, David's circumstances contain elements from each life path. As a member of the middle class, he is an in-city nomad.
The series is based on the 2004–23 comic book series American Jesus (initially titled Chosen) by Mark Millar and Peter Gross, and follows a boy who discovers he has the abilities of Jesus Christ. Unlike the source material, the show takes place in Mexico rather than the United States.
