Faith Mission is one of the largest homeless shelters in Columbus, Ohio. Each year, Faith Mission provides more than 90,000 nights of shelter to men, women and veterans and serves three meals a day.
Friends of the Homeless provides residential support to homeless men and women through shelters, transitional housing, and permanent supportive housing. Since 1983, Friends of the Homeless has provided residents with the opportunity to reestablish themselves as members of the Columbus community.
The Open Shelter & YOU assisted 1,345 homeless and marginally-housed persons in 2024 as of May 1st; 469 of whom were “living on the streets”. 19,893 sack lunches and 39,550 ‘to-go’ meals were provided. 32 men and women participated in our “Payeeship” program, which helps homeless and recently homeless persons who need third-party money management.
