Megatron is the main antagonist of the Transformers "Aligned" universe, serving as the main antagonist of the Transformers: War For Cybertron games, the 2010-2013 animated series Transformers: Prime and the Aligned novel trilogy. He is the leader of the Decepticons and the archenemy of Optimus Prime and the Autobots in general.
