Joel McKinnon Miller (Rockford, Minesota; 21 de febrero de 1960) es un actor estadounidense, conocido por interpretar a Don Embry en la serie Big Love y al detective Norm Scully en Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
Early life. Joel McKinnon Miller was born in Rockford, Minnesota, on February 21, 1960.He took opera singing lessons as a child, and later attended the University of Minnesota Duluth, where he studied theatre and opera.He dropped out in 1983 to attend The Acting Company but returned to his alma mater to finish his degree in theatre with an acting emphasis in 2007.
Features include The Truman Show (1998), Friday After Next (2002) and Super 8 (2011). From (2006-2011) Joel played Don Embry on the HBO series Big Love. His most recognizable role to date, however, was playing Detective Norm Scully for 8 seasons on the NBC hit series Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
