In 1982, this Renault Alpine A310 Phase 2 was delivered new in Germany. This was the most sought-after and sought-after ''Phase 2'' version that, among other things, brought with it the improved rear suspension of the rear-wheel-drive Renault 5 Turbo 1 & 2.
The A310 was the successor to the Alpine A110 (1st Gen), and was offered as a two door, rear engined coupe. These sports cars were initially powered by a range of Renault-sourced inline four engines, but from the 1977 model year, the A310 was equipped with a V6 engine.
